Whenever and wherever you are reading this, I hope life is treating you well. I’ve released my first song, ‘Hourglass’ on Bandcamp, which you can listen to here:
This track has existed for awhile now. It first started off as a piano piece with lyrics, then I repurposed the lyrics to the acoustic track you're hearing now. Some of the lyrics work really well, others feel a bit weaker. At some point I may record a version of Hourglass with lyrics but for now, the instrumental seems to be the strongest representation of this song.
In the spirit of not seeking perfection, I did record this in one take and left any weird sonic hiccups in.
